Born in Brasil, CP migrated to Australia at a young age and it took 16 years before seeing snow for the first time. It was a school trip, jeans were worn and the thought of taking lessons never crossing his mind.

His sense of traveling & adventure was ignited in '95 when he was sent to Hungary as an exchange student. At age 16, this was the 2nd time Cesar saw snow and his 2nd skiing experience, this time in the high Tatra Mountains of Slovakia.

Returning to Australia, CP started at RMIT and 5 years later earned himself a degree in Computer Science. Shortly before graduating, along with his best friend Marco, CP fell into ski instructing. The year was 2001 and after a rather challenging application process both boys were given jobs as instructors at Winter Park Resort. They arrived in early December ready to take on the world.

Now more than 10 years later and 18 seasons working in various countries CP bases himself out of Colorado during the Northern winter, and New Zealand during the Southern chill.

There is no better place to look for inspiration, beauty and to work with world-class athletes. Having photographed National Demonstration teams from Australia, NZ & USA are some of the benefits of living in a ski resort.

Looking to bring images from remote and challenging places is now Cesar’ s inspiration. His first coffee table book printed about a journey down the Grand Canyon on a raft proved to be a success.
